CuePrompter is a free teleprompter/autocue service. Your browser works like a teleprompter -no extra software needed.Bookmark this site and come again when ever you need teleprompter services. Free for any use (both commercial and non-commercial).

Bebo Safety
Bebo Safety is designed to help educate young people, parents and teachers about the safe and positive use of Bebo.
http://www.bebo.com/Safety.jsp
This site is an excellent resource for teaching e-safety. It provides links to a wide variety of resources including vidoes that seek to address many of the issues around safe use of the Internet:
CyberBullying
Personal Data
Uploading/Sharing Content Safely
Ironically Bebo websites are often on the list of banned websites inside school so you may not be able to view these resources unless you are on a computer outside a school network. Not very helpful I know but it does illustrate why, if teachers are going to use these motivating and engaging tools like Bebo, e-safety needs to be addressed in school!

Classroom 2.0. Classroom 2.0, created by Steve Hargadon, is a social networking site, devoted to those interested in the practical application of computer technology (especially Web 2.0) in the classroom and in their own professional development. The Long Tail Blog

Chris Anderson author of the on-line book The Long Tail and editor-in-chief of Wired Magazine is intending to publish the book early this year. His blog is a public diary that will contribute to the final publication.
The theory of the Long Tail is that our culture and economy is increasingly shifting away from a focus on a relatively small number of "hits" (mainstream products and markets) at the head of the demand curve and toward a huge number of niches in the tail. As the costs of production and distribution fall, especially online, there is now less need to lump products and consumers into one-size-fits-all containers. In an era without the constraints of physical shelf space and other bottlenecks of distribution, narrowly-target goods and services can be as economically attractive as mainstream fare.
